Further similar-based books: ' Searching for Appleby Fair, ' a Study of Romany Gypsy Culture, and ' Who Am I ? ' The Post Trauma Lives of Twin-less Twins are due for completion in late 2025. A previous contributor to various Professional and Academic Publications, 'No Safety Net' and 'Appleby' are Brian's first social documentary-based works.

Other ongoing Photo - Documentary Projects include: 'Blyth Diary' a photo-visual essay based on life stories from the Author's local community. 'Ahead of the Curve' Is a photo-documentary study focusing on the experiences of people living with Scoliosis ( a congenital curvature of the spine ).

A lifelong Conservationist and Environmentalist, Brian actively supports both the Marine Conservation Society and Friends of the Earth. He uses Art to show humans interacting positively with the Environment. A keen astronomer Brian is often asked why he spends so many cold nights gazing at the stars.

'having one's head in the clouds is a great way of keeping one's feet on the ground.'

Before retiring on health – grounds Brian was a Social Work Director. His creative vision - inexorably bound not only to his professional past and Humanitarian beliefs but also a personal history tied to his experience of emotional trauma and physical Disability - is forged in the belief:

'The quality of life to which everyone has an inalienable right, is diminished for want of inclusion for all. But Hope prevails through the power of Art, to bridge the gap between having and not having, between knowing and not knowing.'
